Booking Terms & Conditions

Razor Sounds (DJ Razor)

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once:

The client has agreed to these Terms & Conditions, and

Any required deposit has been received.

Verbal or provisional bookings are not guaranteed until confirmed.

Bookings must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event date. 

2. Deposit & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking date.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of services.

3. Cancellations by the Client

Deposits are non-refundable. Exceptions may be made in special circumstances, subject to our discretion. 

If the client cancels:

7 or more days before the event: no further charges beyond the deposit

Within 6 days of the event date: up to 100% of the total fee may be charged, subject to our discretion. 

Cancellations must be made in writing (email or message).

4. Cancellations by the DJ

In the unlikely event that DJ Razor is unable to perform due to illness, accident, or circumstances beyond reasonable control:

Every effort will be made to provide a suitable replacement DJ, or

A full refund of all monies paid will be issued.

No further liability will be accepted.

5. Event Details & Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide:

Accurate event details (date, times, venue, access)

Adequate space, power supply, and safe working conditions

Reasonable protection from weather for outdoor events

DJ Razor reserves the right to refuse to perform if conditions are unsafe.

6. Performance Time & Overtime

Performance times are agreed in advance.

Any additional time requested on the day is subject to availability and an overtime fee at an hourly rate, payable immediately or as agreed.

7. Equipment & Safety

All DJ equipment is PAT tested and maintained to professional standards.

The client is responsible for any damage caused to equipment by guests or venue staff.

DJ Razor accepts no liability for hearing damage caused by excessive volume requested by the client or guests.

8. Music & Content

Music selection will be based on client preferences and professional judgement.

DJ Razor reserves the right to refuse requests that are offensive, inappropriate, or unsafe for the event.

9. Force Majeure

DJ Razor shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Extreme weather

Power failure

Venue closure

Government restrictions

Where possible, alternative arrangements or refunds will be discussed.

10. Photography, Video & Promotion

DJ Razor may use photos or videos taken at the event for promotional purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the event.

11. Liability

DJ Razor’s liability is limited to the total fee paid.

No responsibility is accepted for indirect or consequential losses.

12. Agreement

By booking DJ Razor, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
